Monthly lines sum only businesses observed in that month; they are not the matched-business median series. Missing months are never filled as zero.

How to read this

The median compares each eligible business’s revenue in Jun–Aug 2026 against Sep–Nov 2025, then takes the median percentage change. Only complete, reconciled 12-month histories past the initial partial month are eligible; the initial three-month sum must be positive. The combined-revenue change instead sums the same businesses before calculating the percentage.

The 12-month category dollar figures include every saved history with an observation, including histories with unresolved lifetime mismatches. They are shown for context, not used to rank category growth. Categories with fewer than 10 comparable businesses are hidden by default, not discarded. “Insufficient product detail” means the downloaded metadata cannot support a credible niche; it is not a business sector.

These are reported revenue sums, not MRR. No daily gaps were filled; partial September 2026 is excluded. The dataset is a selected TrustMRR snapshot, not a census or market forecast.
